Line for the game
Maryland is a 10.5 point favorite

Injuries
Maryland will be missing their star LT Bruce Campbell. He had the most experience of any player on MD's OLine. Paul Pinegar will shift from RT to LT and redshirt freshman R.J. Dill will fill in at RT. Safety Jamari McCollough will also miss tomorrows game. Punt returner and wide receiver Tony Logan is listed as questionable.

The only key player the Dukes will be missing is senior wide receiver Bosco Williams.

What to watch
The key matchup to watch will be Maryland young offensive line vs. JMU's experienced defensive line. Maryland has about 20-30 lbs. and 2-3" advantage for each player, but JMU has a good chance of beating them with skill and years of experience. Only one of the five MD O-linemen have started before this year and due to injuries one will be playing on the opposite side of center, while a redshirt freshman will be starting his first game. MD's 5 OL players have played in a total of 48 games (29 of those by Costa), while JMU's 4 DL players have played in a total of 99 games. Sam Daniels and Arthur Moats will be creating some chaos for the new guys.

Other players to watch for are Maryland's All-conference RB Da'Rel Scott, JMU's PR/KR Scotty McGee (and Kerby Long), and JMU's QB battle between Drew Dudzik and Justin Thorpe. Maryland's defense might also look familiar as the Defensive Coordinator is UMass' former DC.

Why Today Is Like Christmas Eve
by Dukedog05 (CAAZone)
The fight song is silent night,
Hello Duke Dog is The Night Before Christmas,
Streamers are stocking stuffers,
Our excuse to wear tacky over the top accessories,
Have put outside decorations up like flags, etc,
Will be driving to see old friends and family in the morning,
A large feast will be eatin late afternoon,
Spouses/friends may surprise some of us with special last minute seasonal gifts tomorrow,
Scotty returning a kick is like Rudolph leading the way,
The Fridge is Saint Nick in red but we also have Saint Mick in purple,
Now all we need to do is borrow a Christmas Tree from an Appy fan and we are set!

Tailgating
JMU Tailgating will be in the U5 lot (you must have a black parking lot pass and $15) or you can alternatively park in the ULG garage and walk over. Lots open at noon.
